2023 - Public Arts Future Labs
The Public Ar Futures Lab Artist-in-Residency program is a space for artists who dare to redefine creativity, merging traditional art forms with cutting-edge technological applications, from the virtual environments offered by extended reality platforms to generative designs powered by creative coding tools. In partnership with Microsoft, Atlanta Downtown, Underground Atlanta, and Georgia State University, I received the support to exlpore immersive technologies that connects with the Atlanta community.
I used my residency and filmmaking expertise to create immersive and captivating experiences that tell the stories of the downtown Atlanta community. Throughout the residency, I produced a series of 360-videography experiences that were showcased on A&E Atlanta's digital signage, with each sign providing a piece of a longer narrative work.
Small World, a ground-breaking VR adventure that takes you deep into the heart of Atlanta like you've never seen before. Shot in mesmerizing 360-degree vision, this cinematic journey plunges you into an immersive exploration.
For opening night of Small World, I showcased the VR film in Meta Quest 2 headsets for over 700 guests.
