2025 - Denver Theater District’s Night Lights
Night Lights Denver is a collection of light and projection-based art installations throughout Downtown Denver, including "The People's Projector" at the Daniels & Fisher Tower, the unique two-sided projection on the Kittredge Building, and multiple SPARK window exhibitions.
Small World is a meditative visual poem about interconnectedness. Blending architecture, nature, and movement, the piece explores how environments (both built and organic) shape our shared experience across time and space.
Curated by Nina Dolgin, Program Manager of Art & Activation at Atlanta Downtown Art & Activation
About the Artist:
Elliott McKnight is a multidisciplinary artist and creative director working at the intersection of immersive media, design, and storytelling. His work explores cultural memory, spatial identity, and the future of narrative through formats like AR/VR, large-scale projection, and digital environments. Elliott has worked with brands including Nike, Twitch, and Verizon and previously served as an artist-in-residence with A&E Atlanta’s Public Arts Future Lab.
About the August 2025 Program:
These five works by Atlanta-based artists offer intimate reflections on how we move through the world emotionally, physically, and imaginatively. Some pieces look to memory and personal history, while others find comfort in sweetness, nature, or the beauty of the mundane. The works evoke a softness that invites viewers to sit with the small moments that shape us, connecting two cities through shared experience. The Atlanta Downtown Art & Activation program works to enhance the cultural identity, vibrancy, and inclusivity of Downtown Atlanta by supporting artists, activating public spaces, and fostering a sustainable creative ecosystem.
